If you mean have something where any old bloke can sign up and magically have a blog of his own here and have his headlines syndicated on the front page, there's no way that would happen.
What I would be willing to do though, is take things on a case-by-case basis. That means, if Hardflip wants his own personal site for a blog and links and whatever (not big files, of course, unless people intend on donating money to the cause), then I can easily whip up a hardflip.aelon.net and a hardflip@ aelon.net and syndicate his wordpress blog headlines on Aelon.
That, however, would take a good amount of time for each request, and I would be extremely picky about who I allow to do that, and how often I can set such things up. I downsized Aelon because of my time constraints, remember. _________________ - Cyrris |

I'm talking kind of like the system you have now. It wouldn't be on everyone's personal life; just updates on stuff they've done which involves entertainment. This would be for select members of GSF, like it is at the moment, but naturally with more people (say 15?). At least it would make the site more active.
I guess journal was the wrong word; it's just that right now it appears to be a kind of journal of a few people. _________________ Hardflip - Orochi |

Definately not 15. That would make things way too hard to keep up with. I decided when thinking about Aelons current format that 5 would really be all it needs. _________________ - Cyrris |

Not really. Back then my interest in the forums had dropped off considerably, and I'd really stopped paying attention to members I didn't already know.
But oh well. It's not as though I don't like what I've seen of him so far. _________________ - Cyrris |

| Despite the fact that I've only just registered, and the likely fact that I'll forget to come back again without some sort of GPS system to guide me (possibly a big stick as well), I'd have a Blog if only to have somewhere to recount my hilarious tale of wrapping my car around a bus queue of nuns. Fun for all the family, although I think my place in heaven may be under threat a little... |
